Atlantic City’s airport getting full-body scanners

In a move that’s projected to increase safety and accommodate more passengers, Atlantic City International Airport is getting full-body scanners.

What was once a conference room and storage area will soon be used for screening, according to the Press of Atlantic City, and when all is said and done,  the airport will have up to five screening lanes running at a time.

The TSA is supplying the body scanners for the $1.1 million upgrade. They’ll be in by the end of the month.
