Atlantic City residents get first crack at 5,000 future jobs

A program that aims to give Atlantic City residents first crack at 5,000 jobs is being called an aggressive program, but for local job seekers, it may serve as a unique opportunity.

The Press of Atlantic City reports Revel Entertainment Group has begun to hold a series of forums in Atlantic City to let residents know they are being given preference to the thousands of future jobs.

According to the story, the jobs are part of a $2.4 billion mega-resort.

The Press of Atlantic City reports nearly 80 people were in attendance during a Thursday forum at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School.
