Armbrister leaving Nutter’s office, Philadelphia

Two weeks after Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter’s office confirmed the departure of Chief of Staff Clarence Armbrister, it’s been revealed Armbrister is leaving for a gig in Baltimore.

    He’ll be southbound on I-95 July 11.

Armbrister, a former executive vice president at Temple University, will become senior vice president and chief of staff at Johns Hopkins University, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.  He’s replacing Jerome D. Schnydman, who is retiring after 37 years at Hopkins.
