Annual WinterFest Celebration to be held on First Friday in Glenside
Winter is officially in full gear, at least if you live in Glenside, as the downtown area is set to celebrate the annual WinterFest celebration on First Friday.
The Montgomery Media reports this year’s event will feature a dedication ceremony that will include state, county and local officials and dignitaries, all of which will be on hand to mark the completion of a street-scape improvement project along Easton Road.
Hot chocolate, cookies and music are also planned for the annual event.
First Friday in December is scheduled for December 2, with festivities scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wesley Plaza in Downtown Glenside. The Montgomery Media says free parking is available as early as 5 p.m.
