Animal rights group creates commercial targeting Princeton University

Graphic photos, deep voices and red text make up the commercial Stop Animal Exploitation Now! has created targeting Princeton University’s animal research labs.

The animal rights group is seeking donations to run the commercial that claims the university is practicing animal abuse.

The Daily Prince has the full story on this issue, which has the university defending its animal testing for the purposes of scientific advancement, and what spokesperson Martin Mbugua calls strong oversight at the labs.

Though not without its violations (17 in the last two years), the university says the SAEN commercial is sensationalizing the story.

SAEN says the images in the commercial aren’t from Princeton because those are “too graphic.”
