Alleged ESPN cancellation would be Vick’s third

After Michael Vick failed to appear on a live “ESPN First Take” interview this afternoon, sports publications are questioning the Eagles’ strategy to the quarterback’s media appearances. Vick’s already backed out of two other appearances in the last month.

Yahoo! Sports reports ESPN is blaming the snub on the team, while the Eagles say it was a media representative for the Maxwell Football Club Awards (where Vick was this morning), who canceled the latest appearance.

Vick backed out of an appearance on Oprah last month, and an anti-dropout event at the Franklin Institute Monday.
