All is calm along the creek

John Ambrose moved to Chestnut Hill from Florida four years ago. He misses deep sea fishing, but makes do with what he can here at the Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia. “I’m a soft forty guy and this is the best I can do fishing.” Here, he releases a little guy he caught, but it’s not always small fries. Two weeks ago he landed his first ever trout in this same spot, which he says, was twelve inches long.
