Ah, the Jersey Shore: What does it mean to you?

    The Jersey Shore means so many things to so many people — family gatherings, fishing, boating, gambling and sometimes a much needed escape from the city.

    Island Beach State Park, a pristine barrier island, illustrates what the shore looked like before development. It has nearly 10 miles of sandy beach and protects the natural shore line and its habitats.
