After police end search for teenager, family continues the effort

Family, friends and strangers are still looking for Sarah Townsend even after the police search ended Tuesday. The 18-year-old Florence, N.J. resident was last seen Monday on her way to school in Monmouth County.
Search professionals have called off the hunt after combing the area with search dogs. No clues turned up in what’s being treated as a missing person case, the Burlington County Times reports. The family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Townsend’s safe return, and has nightly vigils planned in the meantime.
