Accident spurs heavy delays on northbound GSP in northern Ocean County
UPDATE: Northbound delays are back to near Exit 77 at 1:55 p.m.
Delays are building on the Garden State Parkway in northern Ocean County Sunday afternoon following an earlier motor vehicle accident.
The accident was in the northbound lanes north of Exit 90 in Brick, according to 511nj.org. All lanes are open to traffic as of 1:20 p.m.
Traffic stretches back to near the Toms River Toll Plaza, JSHN contributor Corinne Barbato-Sabo reports.
The residual delays are heavy as of 1:20 p.m., according to Google Traffic.
