Abington School Board amends policies to reflect anti-discrimination practices

    The Abington School Board last night approved a motion to amend the district’s policies to incorporate the nondiscrimination policy the district updated earlier this year.

    Five sections will be updated, according to Abington Patch, to include sexual orientation gender identity/expression in the anti-discrimination policy: curriculum, human resources, technology, student bullying and student discipline.

    The motion was passed in just one reading.
