AAA files lawsuit over toll hikes in New York, New Jersey

    The Associated Press reports motorist group AAA is suing the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey over recent toll hikes.

    According to the AP, a lawsuit was filed today in Manhattan federal court.

    The lawsuit aims to stop the agency from collecting higher tolls on bridges and in tunnels that link the two states.

    A spokesperson for the Port Authority declined to comment on the AP report.
