A different kind of leadership: meet Philadelphia’s Creative Connectors

Creative Connectors use art to mobilize people around an issue. They consider the common good and they engage in diverse groups.

That’s all well and good, but who are these Creative Connectors? You’ll meet some of them today. In partnership with Leadership Philadelphia, we bring you 76 Philadelphians using their positions in the arts and culture community to foster change and development in the city.

Take for example, choreographer Kun Yang-Lin and Drexel’s Kathleen Volk Miller. Both are using their own very personal experiences to fosters connections around Philadelphia, be it through Yang-Lin’s dance company or Volk Miller’s story slam events. Learn more about them today when our Creative Connectors page launches.

On NewsWorks Tonight, Leadership Philadelphia’s Liz Dow will explain the breadth of the Connectors project, and later on the web, Peter Crimmins will share the stories of other connectors.
