$63,000 penalty for Delaware oil recycler’s violations

    Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has issued a penalty for International Petroleum Corporation of Delaware, the oil recycler cited in October for violating hazardous waste management laws.

    IPC, of Wilmington, failed to meet the requirement that used oil accepted at the facility meets the standards of the Division of Air Quality.

    The company was also cited for story parts washer solvent without a permit.

    Penalties total more than $63,000, and IPC has 30 days to appeal.
