5th Police District: Attempted car arson on Cinnaminson Street

May 21, 2012

100 block Osborn St. – Camera case, cord, 50 cards, black purse, $200, credit cards and membership cards were stolen from a 2008 Toyota Camry.

Krams Ave. – iPhone was stolen, but later recovered. Complainant said the item was on her porch and that a witness saw two men snatch the phone and flee. Witness used GPS to track down the phone. Offenders were arrested in Center City.

May 22, 2012

4500 block Fleming St. – Apple laptop, 42″ Samsung TV, 14″ Sony TV and a DVD player were stolen from the property.

May 23, 2012

6700 block Ridge Ave. – Two UPS packages were stolen from the property.

May 24, 2012

400 block Roxborough Ave. – 46″ Insignia flat screen TV, Paramax surround sound system and an Xbox 360 were stolen from the property.

7000 block Ridge Ave. – A man was arrested after police received a call for a person with a gun and a woman trapped in a bedroom.

May 25, 2012

3900 block Manayunk Ave – Three men attempted to rob a fourth at gunpoint, threatening to kill him in the process. Offenders ran after complainant’s business partner pulled up.

May 26, 2012

700 block Cinnaminson St. – Complainant said someone threw lit paper onto his front driver’s seat and closed the door. Incident was deemed arson.

7900 block Henry Ave. – Radar detector stolen from a 2008 Infinity G37.

May 27, 2012

100 block Dawson St. – TomTom GPS and an iPod were stolen from a 2008 Ford Focus.

Shawmont Ave. / Dixon St. – Radio and clothing were stolen from a 2001 Honda CR-V.

7200 block Ridge Ave. – Two pop-up gazebos and detergent were stolen from a drug store at the location.

8200 block Henry Ave. – Garmin GPS, Magellan GPS, mini iPod, Oakley sunglasses and a Motorola Bluetooth device stolen from a 2009 Honda Civic.
