February 14, 2011

600 block Park Terrace – assorted tools stolen from a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Complainant said he heard something coming from outside. When he investigated, he saw that the dome light on the inside of his car was on.  There was no sign of a forced entry. Complainant said he was unsure if the vehicle was locked at the time of the incident.

100 block Rochelle Ave. – Sony car radio stolen from a 1998 Ford Explorer. Complainant said someone broke the driver drive door.

February 15, 2011

3800 block Manayunk Ave. – four tires, four tire rims and four covers stolen from a 2010 Lincoln MKS. Complainant said she found the car sitting on “Pepsi” crates.

February 16, 2011

4300 block Mitchell St. – two Xbox consoles, seven games and a safe containing $400 stolen from the property. Complainant said someone broke a side window and took the items from her son’s bedroom.  She said her son had spoken to a friend about the Xbox.

8900 block Ridge Ave.  – gas compressor, scaffolding bars, safety bars, ladders and an electric blow heater were stolen from the property. A witness told the complainant someone with a white van stole the items from the commercial garage.

February 17, 2011

400 block Fountain St. – Tom-Tom GPS stolen from a 2005 Pontiac.

200 block Fountain St.  – sunglasses, radio cover, Garmin GPS and a Coleman tent stolen from several vehicles. Items were taken from a 2004 Ford F-150, 2005 Chevy Malibu, 2003 Toyota Matrix and a 1995 Ford Taurus.

Righter St. – vehicle containing CDs, DVDs, coats, a car seat and stroller was stolen. Complainant said someone took his 2003 Chevy Venture from the driveway.

Rector St. – nine rings were stolen from the property. Complainant said several family members have access to the bedroom where the items were stored. She also said her brother-in-law was working in a room next door.

February 19, 2011

7700 block Ridge Ave. – fifteen filled propane tanks stolen from a gas station. Complainant, manager, said someone cut two locks on an outside metal storage case and took the tanks.

February 20, 2011

400 block Lyceum Ave. – complainant, a taxi driver, said two customers tried to rob him at knife point. One of the offenders, he said, stuck a knife through the security shield inside his cab and demanded money. The offenders fled the cab after the complainant closed the shield. Nothing was taken and there were no injuries.

8200 block Henry Ave.  – vehicle containing 30 CDs, a dog seat cover and a shovel was stolen. Complainant said that someone took her 2000 Honda Civic from a parking lot.

February 22, 2011

3700 block Main St. – 3G iPhone stolen from the property. Complainant said someone stole the phone from a pocketbook she left inside a movie theater restroom.

February 23, 2011

7200 block Ridge Ave. – T-Mobile cell phone stolen from a delivery truck, but recovered. Complainant said someone took the phone from the unlocked vehicle while he was making a delivery at CVS. After looking at surveillance footage from the store, the complainant identified the offender. He was later found on Domino Lane with the phone and arrested.

February 25, 2011

400 block Domino Lane – black leather briefcase containing school books was stolen from a 2011 Ford Edge.

February 26, 2011

4900 block Tibben St. – vehicle containing an iPod, stereo equipment, a toolbox and tuner was stolen. Complainant said someone stole his 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra.

February 27, 2011

4100 block Main St. – wallet containing $350 and various credits cards was stolen from a bar. Complainant said someone took the item from her purse while inside the location.
