5th District: Man robbed at gunpoint and pistol-whipped on Cresson St.

Aug. 27

12:00 p.m. Theft. 5xx Jamestown St. Red leather wallet stolen. Among items taken are $60, a Pa. driver’s license, personal checks, and a Coach checkbook holder.

2:01 p.m. Aggravated Assault. 37xx Cresson St. Complainant reported being pushed, spit on, and punched in the face. Offender arrested.

Aug. 28

12:00 p.m. Theft. 43xx Manayunk Ave. Taken was two bracelets, a cross-charm and a gold watch.

1:45 p.m. Theft. 85xx Henry Ave. Several jewelry items stolen, offender arrested.

7:00 p.m. Theft. 8500 Henry Ave. Offender stole a necklace and a pair of Keds sandals and was subsequently arrested.

8:10 p.m. Theft. 58xx Ridge Ave. Multiple complainants reported property stolen during softball game. The items were recovered the next day.

8:40 p.m. Robbery. 85xx Henry Ave. Complainant told, “Give me all of your stuff,” and was punched and kicked while attempting to flee.

10:53 p.m. Robbery. 4xx Monastery Ave. Complainant was grabbed by the arm, asked if was carrying “drugs or money.” Nothing reported taken.

Aug. 29

6:50 a.m. Theft. 6xx Rector St. A silver HP laptop was stolen from a vehicle, no signs of forcible entry.

11:31 a.m. Theft. 37xx Main St. More than $800 dollars in razors stolen from CVS.

9:00 p.m. Burglary. 54xx Henry Ave. Entryway found pried open, nothing reported taken.

Aug. 30

4:05 a.m. Theft. 4xx Evergreen Ave. Multiple items taken from several vehicles. A female suspect was arrested.

8:30 a.m. Burglary. 61xx Henry Ave. Three gold rings valued at $5,000 stolen.

8:30 a.m. Burglary. 7000 Valley Ave. Stolen was an HP laptop, $30 in change, a “Class of ’81” ring and a Pandora bracelet.

7:30 p.m. Theft. 61xx Ridge Ave. A purse containing $60, a driver’s license and a debit card were taken.

Aug. 31

12:44 p.m. Burglary. 46xx Mitchell St. Air conditioner removed from window to gain entry. No items reported taken.

3:15 p.m. Burglary. 86xx Thomas Mill Terr. Offender attempted to open several doors while residents were home, no entry gained.

7:15 p.m. Theft. 73xx Ridge Ave. $200 in prescription medications taken.

7:50 p.m. Robbery. 43xx Terrace St. Wallet containing $152 was taken at gunpoint.

10:30 p.m. Robbery. 41xx Cresson St. Complainant reported that on Aug. 17 he was robbed at gunpoint and pistol-whipped. Complaint said that the trigger was pulled but weapon did not discharge.

Sept. 1

12:00 a.m. Theft. 4xx Domino Ln. Stolen were keys to complainant’s building and car.

10:00 a.m. Theft. 50xx Umbria St. Pa. tag stolen.

9:00 a.m. Burglary. 6xx Walnut Lane. Taken was a Dell laptop, a flat-screen television, and 2 Diesel watches.11:00 p.m. Theft. 44xx Main St. A black iPhone was taken from inside a bar.

Sept. 2

12:00 a.m. Burglary. 3xx Leverington Ave. Jewelry valued at $1,500 reported stolen.

11:45 p.m. Auto Theft. 1xx Cotton St. A 2003 Ford Taurus was stolen, along with golf clubs and sneakers inside the vehicle.

3:00 a.m. Burglary. 79xx Henry Ave. Among items taken from the residential property were $10,000 cash, 29 cell phones, and a Glock 27 pistol. Total value of $78,435.
