    Smith Playground’s Play-A-Palooza at Fairmount Park

    Saturday, March 29th from noon to 3 p.m.

    One of the best events of the year for kids 10 and younger! It’s opening day at Smith’s Seasonal Grand Playground. There will be crafts from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, games from Playworks, science activities from The Franklin Institute, soccer from Soccer Shots and plenty of treats.

    Collegiate Challenge at St. Joseph’s University

    Sunday, March 30 from noon to 4 p.m.

    Saint Joseph’s University Collegiate Challenge welcomes families for an exciting afternoon of fun and fundraising. Live music, tye-dye shirts, moonbounce, build-your-own ice cream sundae and raffles for iPads. All proceeds go to a student-led service organization that works with Habitat for Humanity to arrange summer trips to build houses.

    Teen Night at Teenagers, Inc.

    Friday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.

    Chestnut Hill’s Teenagers, Inc hosts teenagers age 12 to 15 years old at the TeenCenter to hang out, enjoy music, games and movies. 

    Talking Stick Learning Center Inaugural 5K Walk at Awbury Arboretum

    Saturday, March 29 from 8:45 a.m. to noon

    Awbury Arboretum is hosting its inaugural 5K Walk for Talking Stick. There will be face painting, food, and drinks for everyone. Talking Stick Learning Center is a local homeschool resource offering an environment to explore, collaborate, and create.

    Brick Insanity Lego Club at William Jeanes Memorial Library

    Saturday, March 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

    Lego lovers ages 7 to 10 are invited to sign up for two hours of building fun. We’ll follow a theme and have plenty of time for free building with the Legos provided. You can sign up by calling the library (610-828-0441) or through the library’s interactive web calendar.
