3 area chefs up for national honor, voting ends Sunday

Three Philadelphia chefs are nominated for Food & Wine’s “Best New Chef” honor, and public voting continues through the week.

Diners across the country have been asked to vote among the 10 best chefs in each region, and the chef with the most votes takes the title.

In the Mid-Atlantic category, Philadelphia chefs Pierre Calmels of Bibou, Brad Spence of Amis and Lee Styer of Fond are up against each other and seven other new chefs from D.C., Pittsburgh and Virginia.

    Voting ends March 11.
