22 Philly high schools getting condom dispensers

When Philadelphia public high school students return to to class in the new year, many of them will have access to new vending machines.

But instead of sodas, snacks and ice cream, the new dispensers will give out condoms.

The dispensers will be installed in 22 public high schoolsover winter break inside nurses’ offices to make condoms more readily available to the teenage students.

Parents who don’t want their students to have access to the condoms can sign a form to opt out.
