Wilmington Drama League presents: Memphis, September 25th – 27th
This is the Delaware premiere of the exuberant Memphis, a winner of many Tony awards, including Best Musical. Set in the 1950’s, it’s a story about the power that love and music has on the soul. Wilmington Drama League.
Buddy Guy featuring Special Guest Ethan Tucker, October 2nd
Blues guitarist and singer Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. Arts in the Estuary, September 26th
Enjoy various artisans, performers, and authors as we join with the John Dickinson Plantation to bring you a cultural view of the estuary! Try your hand at some artwork, buy some native plants from the Delaware Native Plant Society during the native plant sale as you look at your landscaping artistically, and learn tips from local and regional artists. This event is open to the public and admission is Free. Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve, Townsend.
Noises Off, September 25th – 27th
Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play. Riverfront Theater, Milford

2015 Lewes Fall Craft Fair, October 3rd
The Lewes Fall Craft Fair is well known for the exceptional quality of the craftspeople including new and returning artists from across Delmarva and the Eastern Shore. This year, there will be over 60 talented artisans exhibiting a variety of media ranging from metalwork to woodworking, and this fall’s Featured Artist, Susan Nonn. Lewes Historical Society.
Lips Together, Teeth Apart, September 25th – October 11th
The setting is the Fourth of July on Fire Island where a brother and sister and their respective spouses are striving to have a comfortable summer getaway in an uncomfortable setting – their dead gay brother’s beach house. As their weekend in the sun unfolds, the two couples do their best to enjoy themselves despite their prejudices and insecurities. The grill is fired up, the drinks are cold, and the barbs fly fast and furious in this dark comedy, mature content. Clear Space Theatre, Rehoboth Beach.
