$18 million in federal grants to be shared by 8 N.J. community health centers

    Community health centers in Camden, Long Branch and Bridgeton are among community health centers in New Jersey to receive $18 million in federal grants meant to help the centers expand and improve their operations.

    The Associated Press reports the money comes from funding that totals more than $728 million.

    According to the report, the centers estimate the funding will help them to serve thousands of new patients.

    Community Health Care in Bridgetwon, H.O.P.E. in Camden and Monmouth Family Health Center in Long Branch were among those centers to receive funding.
