$1,000 grant awarded to Harrison Township high school art program

A $1,000 grant was awarded to a Harrison Township high school this week to help continue to keep the arts a part of the education process.

The Gloucester County Times reports Clearview Regional High School was awarded the grant by South Jersey Energy Services, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries.

The grant will be awarded to more than a dozen middle or high schools that are deemed to have competitive arts programs.

The Gloucester County Times says the Clearview Regional High School’s fine arts program has produced award-winning students.
