Four days out from the Super Tuesday presidential primary elections, Republican front-runner Donald Trump looks to lock in his advantage with an endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Matt Katz, WNYC reporter and author of “American Governor: Chris Christie’s Bridge to Redemption,” joined Newsworks Tonight to help make sense of the bombshell.

Does it mean a possible Trump/Christie ticket?

Not according to Katz. He said a vice president nomination is slightly out of Christie’s reach. But the former presidential candidate definitely has his eyes on a seat in the administration if Trump were elected.

“He did Trump a favor, and I can see a President Trump offering Chris Christie, who used to be a federal prosecutor, the job of attorney general,” said Katz.

That is, of course, if the Bridgegate trial is over and done with.
