Growing evidence of the toxicity of chemicals in firefighting foams raises alarm

Between 2014 and 2016, wells providing drinking water in some Bucks County communities were deemed to be chemically contaminated by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency. A new Centers for Disease Control report released this week points to the potential of much greater toxicity levels in samples from the Horsham, Warminster and Warrington water authorities.

Kyle Bagenstose, environmental reporter for the Doylestown Intelligencer has been following these developments and discussed the situation with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller.
