The 36th annual Broad Street Run is set to kick off Sunday morning at 8 a.m.

For 31 of those 36 years, runners completing the 10-mile course have been met at the finish line by Dr. Howard Palamarchuk and his students at the Temple School of Podiatry who volunteer to tend to runners’ aching feet.

Palamarchuk comes at podiatry from an athlete’s perspective following a competitive walking career in the 1970s. Click above to hear my interview with Dr. Palamarchuk.
