This weekend, WHYY presents the Connections Festival, a free, 2-day music concert at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. On Saturday night, the headliner will be Ben Kweller, a singer-songwriter who – at age 32 – is already a 17-year veteran of the music industry.

Kweller was first courted by a major label at age 14, when his band, Radish, caused a bidding war. However the band did not live up to its promise, and it fell apart.

Since then, Kweller has successfully built a solo career, releasing six albums. His most recent, “Go Fly A Kite” (2012), features the song “Full Circle,” which Kweller played in-studio, when he came by WHYY to speak with reporter Peter Crimmins.
