UN Climate Change Conference

    Listen

    Hour 1

climate logoFor the next twelve days, world leaders, negotiators, and scientists will meet in Copenhagen at the UN Climate Change Conference to try to iron out an international agreement to combat global warming. Some have called the conference the most important meeting since the end of World War II, our final chance to prevent climate disaster; however, it is unlikely that the talks will produce a legally binding treaty. This hour, we get an overview of the conference and the issues from a Time science reporter BRYAN WALSH and climate scientist MICHAEL OPPENHEIMER of Princeton University.
