Remembering guitarist Lonnie Johnson 1899-1970

A new CD revives the music of blues and jazz guitarist Lonnie Johnson. We’ll learn about Johnson 1899-1970 who spent part of his life in Philadelphia. Our guests are AARON LEVISON a Philadelphia-area music producer who created the new CD “Rediscovering Lonnie Johnson,” and with FRANCIS DAVIS who wrote the liner notes for the CD. Davis is a contributing Editor to The Atlantic Monthly magazine and a columnist for The Village Voice.
