Philadelphia’s Gun Legislation
Last week, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter signed five new gun-control laws. However, a 1974 court ruling gives the state the right to enact gun laws. We discuss this issue with DARRELL CLARKE, City Councilman of Philadelphia’s 5th District. He is a primary sponsor of the legislation signed last week by Mayor Michael Nutter. And DENNIS O’BRIEN, Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He is serving his 15th term and is the Republican Leader of the 57th Ward of Philadelphia.
