Our last mid-term election preview

    Listen

    Hour 1

All eyes are on Delaware and Pennsylvania in advance of next week’s mid-term elections.  Two highly coveted Senate seats are up for grabs and the races have been controversial and contentious.  Christine O’Donnell and Chris Coons are fighting for Joe Biden’s vacated seat and in Pennsylvania its Joe Sestak pitted against Pat Toomey.  Local competitive congressional races also have attracted national attention.  And on the state level, Pennsylvania voters are also going to the polls to elect a replacement for Governor Ed Rendell.  In this hour of Radio Times we go live from WHYY’s new Dorrance H. Hamilton Public Media Commons, with a studio audience, to talk about all these races and what they say about the state of politics locally and nationally. Our guests include BILL COOK host of WHYY’s FIRST who has been covering the Delaware races,  SCOTT DETROW,  WHYY’s Harrisburg reporter, and DICK POLMAN who provides commentary on his WHYY blog, National Interest.
