GI Bill update

Should Congress update the GI Bill? Under the original bill, World War Two Vets were reimbursed for the full cost of tuition and fees from any college or university. Today, the cost of higher ed has outpaced the veteran benefits, and now only covers 60-70 percent of a public college.
We’ll hear about the new effort in Congress to expand benefits, and how the WWII GI Bill changed America. We talk with EDWARD HUMES, author of Over Here: How the GI Bill Transformed the American Dream and TODD BOWERS the Director of Government Affairs for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
