As the health care landscape is changing, so too is the way hospitals deliver care. After more than three years, A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children is ready to unveil it’s massive new expansion that’s designed to ease young patients and their families through tough times. For this week’s First Look, we got a first hand view of how the new faciltiy was designed to provide comfort and care.
Stopping drug overdoses
In a coordinated effort among health advocates, state leaders, and even some law enforcement officials, these groups are trying to get a better handle on a situation that is now responsible for more than 15 overdose deaths a month in Delaware.

First Experience: The Clayton Theatre
The Clayton Theatre in Dagsboro transitioned from the old fashion movie projector to digital movies about 6 months ago. It was a costly process for the 65 year old theatre. Delaware’s lone first run, single screen movie theatre has come a long way since ‘One Touch of Venus’ was shown in 1949. First Experience goes to the movies for a review.
