February 13, 2012 — More than a third of Americans over the age of 50 are single. And that can mean entering the dating scene for the first time in 20 years, raising all sorts of confusing issues. Although dating experts say that being true to what you want is key to being open and ready for possibilities, that’s easier said than done. Dr. Dan Gottlieb explores the delight and difficulties of dating again after 50 with guests Sally Landau and Judith Sills, Ph.D.

Sally Landau is a certified life coach and dating and relationship mentor. Judith Sills is a clinical psychologist in Philadelphia. She’s written several books, including: Getting Naked Again: Dating, Romance, Sex, and Love When You’ve Been Divorced, Widowed, Dumped, or Distracted and The Comfort Trap or What if You’re Riding a Dead Horse?
