Guest: Christopher Phillips

What are you going to be when you grow up? That’s a question that’s put to every young person, with the implication that they will put away their childish things and become a mature adult. Our guest CHRISTOPHER PHILLIPS says that too often grown-ups lose the creativity, wonder, intelligence and joy of childhood and that it’s time to rethink and re-imagine the stages of development. His new book, The Philosophy of Childing: Unlocking Curiosity, Creativity, and Reason through the Wisdom of Our Youngest, draws on philosophy, psychology, and neurology. His previous book, Socrates Cafe, have led to the popularity of meet-ups inspired by the Socratic method.
