Philadelphia is the birthplace of many pivotal American organizations, including the first volunteer fire company! Located in Olde City, the Fireman’s Hall Museum is one of the nation’s premiere fire museums focused on the preservation of Philadelphia fire history and promoting Fire Safety. Take a look inside and learn the do’s and don’ts of fire safety ahead of Philadelphia’s Fire Prevention Week.

University City’s new mural, the Silent Watcher by artist Faith XLVII, stands 19 stories tall at 39th & Market. Mural Arts Executive Director, Jane Golden, joins us on set to discuss the new 19,000 square foot piece of art. The Site/Sound Festival is Mural Arts Philadelphia’s newest installation that includes audio-visual art. The three core installations take place in various locations.
