HAPPY BIRTHDAY to us! Newsworks is celebrating its first birthday on Nov. 15. We’re having a party (or parties), and you get the presents.

How to enter:

No Purchase Necessary.

To enter, individuals must visit one of the Newsworks Birthday Parties and complete an entry slip.

Eligibility: Individuals must be 21 years or older to enter. They must be a resident of New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware. WHYY employees and members of their family, and freelancers and members of their family, are not eligible.

One general entry per person, per location. Indivuals may submit a second entry per location if they can prove that they have been on the Newsworks.org website, by describing a story or something from the website. Individuals are permitted to attend more than one party and my enter at each location they visit. All entries will be taken only on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at the locations and times published. Locations and times subject to change.

Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. ONE (1) Winner will be drawn from among all of the entries at all of the locations. The winner will be drawn at random by Friday, November 18, and will be notified at the email and/or phone number provided within 24 hours of the drawing.

If the winner is not reachable and does not respond by Tuesday, November 22, another winner will be chosen at random.

The prize is an iPad 2 16GB. Retail value $499.00 plus tax.
