Because every Jersey girl is a princess, it seems fitting that one should claim a familial connection with the Fresh Prince of Buckingham Palace.
While the world awaited news of Prince Whatshisname this week, NBC40 reported Savannah Jayne Brown is a 13th cousin of the newborn son of William and Kate. The 7-year-old called the royal news “very exciting,” but reveals she’s in need of a new tiara. The family credits her grandfather’s online genealogy sleuthing for discovering the connection.
Officially, Savannah’s new distant cousin will be called Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. That’s nice and all, but we’ll stick with Prince Francis Albert of Hoboken and Prince Bruce Frederick of Freehold.
