Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter says the city made it through the morning, but the worst is yet to come, with plenty of heavy weather ahead before the storm clears out.

Nutter: If you really don’t have to be out please don’t be out in this very dangerous weather You know we plow it keeps coming down, we plow it keeps coming down we plow it keeps coming down at some point and time it stops we take over and we start winning that battle, but for about 15 hours it’s going to be rough today.

Mayor Nutter adds business owners need to think about how their employees will travel home when considering if they are going to open or stay open today. The city has closed all offices to the public and only essential employees are being called in to work.
