Workshop reviews for procedures for cyclists involved in car crashes

Let’s say you’re riding your bike to work and you get into an accident with a car. What do you do? Bikes aren’t insured the way cars are. Philadelphia police don’t come to the scene for accidents as minor as fender benders.

Questions about those things are encouraged at tonight’s Bicycles v. Cars Workshop in West Philadelphia organized by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.

Whether you go to the workshop or not, stay tuned for a story from WHYY/NewsWorks’ Emma Jacobs about the idiosyncrasies that come with being a biker involved in a crash.
