Workin’ it

After regional and national attention was paid to Pa. Gov. Ed Rendell’s Eagles snow rant, the Daily News is pondering whether the whole thing was an attention-grabbing, resume-building, legacy-changing tactic.

Rumors have been circulating Rendell has plans to work as a TV talker following his run as governor. His media tour about the postponement of Sunday’s Eagles game vs. the Vikings proved him more than qualified for TV face time — and earned him a snow-covered seat complete with a “wuss” sign at the rescheduled game Tuesday.

Or perhaps his pontificating was merely a shot at changing his association with snow instead of the national memory of his betting an Eagles fan the guy couldn’t toss a snowball onto the field.
