Woman sues Delaware County nursing home for alleged abuse of her mother

    While three workers from Delaware County’s Quadrangle Sunrise Senior Living facility are charged for alleged abuse of patient, the mother of the patient in question has filed her own suit.

    Papers filed with the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas review a complaint from Mary French on her mother’s behalf. French and her husband discovered the alleged abuse by Quadrangle workers when the secretly installed a nanny cam in 79-year-old Lois McCallister’s room at the facility.

    Ayesha Muhammad, Tyrina Griffin and Samirah Traynham will go to trial next month for harassment, neglect, simple assault, conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person.
