Woman found beaten to death near Philadelphia
Authorities say a woman was found beaten to death in a home near Philadelphia.
The Chester County district attorney’s office said a relative found the body of 62-year-old Denise Barger in the Tredyffrin Township home on Friday morning.
District Attorney Thomas Hogan said the victim, a recent widow, died of blunt force trauma, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Township police and county detectives are investigating, and Hogan is asking anyone with information about the case to call detectives.
