With Spring in the air, Philly prepares to crack down on unregistered sidewalk cafes

Temperatures lately might tell a different story, but it is Spring. Things will warm up soon enough, and Philadelphia is ready for the restaurants who clutter sidewalks with table and chairs.

KYW reports the city is ready to deal with eateries that set up unregistered sidewalk cafes. Restaurants need approval for the outdoor seating, which needs to be set up in an unobtrusive way and far enough away from the street.

If you’re a business, it’s time to register those tables.
