Wisniewski says New Jersey needs to do its part in helping trucks remove snow

New Jersey’s Assembly Transportation Chairman John Wisniewski has introduced new legislation altering his original bill requiring snow to be removed from trucks. Wisniewski’s end goal is participation from the state.

Wisniewski finds himself at odds with Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz. While Wisniewski is calling on the state to install snow-removal devices for trucks, Munoz said trucking companies have proven themselves capable of removing the snow themselves, the News of Cumberland County reports.

Wisniewski’s new legislation is an attempt to force the state’s hand by exempting truck drivers from being ticketed for not removing snow.
