Wife reports short email from missing Pa. official
A newspaper says the wife of a missing government official in northeastern Pennsylvania is reporting she received a short email from him.
The Citizens’ Voice of Wilkes-Barre said Friday that Linda Urban received a five-word email from her husband Stephen Urban shortly after police asked the public for information about his whereabouts.
The newspaper says the email was: “Took a plane. Went fishing.”
Linda Urban says she’s not fully convinced the email was written by her husband, and she’s still worried about him.
Earlier Friday, police asked the public’s help for information about him.
