Wife of Chester, Pa. mayor carjacked

    Officials say three suspects have been taken into custody after the wife of a southeastern Pennsylvania mayor was carjacked at gunpoint.

    Officials say the wife of Chester Mayor John Linder was carjacked Wednesday night in the city of Chester.

    According to the Mayor’s office, the suspects approached Mrs. Linder while she was parked in front of her home and demanded her car.

    Officials say Mrs. Linder got out of her car and the men took off. She was not injured.

    KYW-TV in Philadelphia reports Chester police tracked the suspects and recovered the car.

    Police continue to investigate.
