Weather blamed for bringing down Cherry Hill utility pole

Today’s weather is said to be the cause of a utility poll that is down on Route 70 and Hampton Road in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The New Jersey township reports the pole came down due to weather activity in the area today.

Traffic is moving slowly on Route 70 east and westbound near the intersection of Route 70 and Hampton Road, which is close to the Pennsauken border.

Township officials say they are waiting for the pole and downed wires to be removed.
