Water rescue: Emergency responders rescue two in Montgomery Co.

    At least two people were brought to dry land Sunday morning in Whitemarsh Township after rescuers were dispatched to a home where the first floor was flooded.

    According to WPVI-TV, the residents of the home had to move to the attic to avoid the flooding.

    WPVI-TV says emergency responders were called to the home on Stenton Avenue near Flourtown Road around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

    Members of the National Guard were among those who performed the rescue.
