Virginia Tech shooting survivor joins panel on gun violence reduction in Delaware

    Joining a pane to discuss the reduction of gun violence in Delaware tonight is Colin Goddard, a survivor of the 2007 shooting massacre at Virginia Tech.

    Goddard will talk with State Rep. Dennis P. Williams, (D-Wilmington); Wilmington’s Chief of Police Michael J. Szczerba; Wilmington City Council member Hanifa Shabazz; and Andrew Lippstone, deputy legal counsel for Gov. Markell about legislation to prevent criminals and those with mental illnesses from possessing firearms.

    The group will be at Theater N in Wilmington at 7 p.m.
